The 3 Laws of Spiritual Weight Loss

After years of trying to lose weight in the physical world, I was done with it.


Done with diets.


Done with "calories in vs. calories burned"


Done with working out 6-7 days a week x1-2 a day.


Done with binge eating.


Done with restrictive eating.


Done with body positivity.


Done with a competition prep lifestyle.




It was time to expand my knowledge of health and fitness beyond the physical and into the metaphysical.


Well first of all, most of us have it so drilled into our heads that perfect health is movement every day, drinking 1/2 our body weight in ounces of water each day, sleeping 7-8 hours each night, and eating in moderation. Yet, how many of us follow these guidelines and still have trouble with digestion, constipation, acne, bloating, weight gain, heartburn, food intolerances/sensitivities? And the list goes on...


note: I am not a doctor so I can't speak from a medical perspective and if you are looking for weight loss please consult your physician.


From my own personal experience, I discovered that I was carrying around my past emotional trauma, and chronic stress with me and I didn't even realize how much it was negatively impacting my health. I couldn't see it. I thought I was doing all the right things. In many ways I was. But there was a whole other realm of healing that I was completely ignorant of - my spiritual health. I didn't see it until I started my spiritual journey.


Let's talk about the main differences between the spirit world and this time/space continuum, for our purposes here, they are as follows:

  • The spirit world transcends time, so it’s always NOW.

  • The spirit world also transcends space and matter, so mapping our soul, spirit, heart, and mind is a little tricky.

  • The spirit world has no negativity, like fear or frustration, so there’s a beautiful flow of faith.

In order to discover the healing my body was desperately in need of I had to let go of the control of my physical world and start allowing the spiritual world to do its thing, I had to open myself up to receiving the harmony that already is.


Spiritual weight loss happens when we let go of the need to control and we start listening to our internal guidance system and let go of the weight of the physical world. Let go of whoever hurt your feelings in the past, let go of the poor decisions you made when you were younger, let go of the stress in the present moment, and instead create the life you want to live.


The first law you need to know in order to understand this is that This universe is made up of one thing: ENERGY. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It not only permeates all things, it is the substance of which their parts are formed.


Our thoughts are energy, and our thoughts are frequencies, different thoughts make us feel different emotions and those emotions cause us to vibrate at different frequencies. The frequencies we vibrate is the frequencies we attract. Exactly like turning the dial on a radio to get the station you want to listen to.


We are always vibrating frequencies.


Creation, for us, begins with THOUGHT. Thoughts are things, actual things. Thoughts are our first creation because they are the drawing together of energy. This new thought is an energy ball, and it immediately becomes a new cause in this universe of cause and effect.


What you focus on you become.

1. Thoughts are things. Our thoughts are literally like energy balls that can grow and have a profound effect on the cells of your body and your wellness. If you are constantly thinking "I want to lose weight, I want to lose weight, I want to lose weight, I'm fat, I'm fat, I'm fat, I can't lose weight, I can't lose weight, I can't lose weight" then what kind of frequencies you do think you are putting out into the universe? And guess what kind of energy you're going to get back? It's defiantly not going to be weight loss, it's going to be more experiences and feelings that make you feel not good in your body. You have to change your thoughts, create new feelings in order to attract new experiences. The more that you love and appreciate the body you have the more good feeling thoughts and feelings you will start to have about your body.

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
Philippians 4:8

2. Your beliefs create your reality. You need to form a new belief about yourself if the current one is causing you to be overweight and/or unhappy with your current body. Positive thinking isn't enough on its own - which is why most people get frustrated when they try to change their lives on positive thinking on its own. To attract your weight loss transformation that you desire tou need to shed your current limiting belief about yourself that is keeping you stuck at your current weight and create a new belief that supports the weight you want to be.


Beliefs give birth to all miracles and manifestations. Beliefs activate your heart’s action-and-attraction mechanism and unlock your miracles and manifestations. A belief is an unchallenged feeling of certainty relating to a thought. As long as that belief is held in your heart and mind, it is your self-created destiny.


3. Metabolize life experiences. Your physical body takes in food and converts it into energy. The better the quality of food the higher the vibration of energy. Our bodies also take what they need and eliminate what they don't. It always seeks to metabolize whatever resources we feed it. It will use, store or eliminate.

  • Use - Make the most of the moments in life by practicing pure presence. Pure presence is a form of Nen consciousness, or One Mind. Be mindful of the quality of food, water, products you use on your skin and in your household, be aware of the conversations around you and the words that come out of your mouth. How you use your energy becomes a physical manifestation through your body. What you think you become. What you feel inside, reflects on the outside.


  • Store - Meditate on your life experiences to draw out the insights and wisdom. Every thing you have done for or to your body up to this point and be of server to you moving forward. There is not diet or workout, or walk or salad eaten that was done "for nothing"- how often we we eat well all day, then had a cookie, and say "f$#! it, I've blown my diet now it was all for nothing."? Everytime we do this we learn a lesson. truthfully it should only take doing it once to learn the lesson but as human we tend to not meditate on our life experiences and make the same mistakes over and over. What insights and wisdom can you draw on from your past dieting history? and your past relationship with your body? The answers for creating the body & health you desiser lives in thoughts unexplored experiences.


  • Eliminate - Sadness and grace are our emotional toxicity-release mechanisms. There are and will be challenging and even negative moments in life. Moments that we need to grieve, cry, get angry, and let go. It's importance to allow the natural and appropriate emotional release process to occur and not to repress, hide, or burren down these kind of emotions. This is one of the most important disciplines of a holistic healthy life. When we hold onto and store sadness, grief, pain, angery or stress it create energy blocks in the body. These energy blocks stop the natural flow of energy circulation. Similar to how our blood runs through our veins our energy runs through, in and around, our body, giving us life. The energy blocks and manifest over time into physical symptoms when they go untreated. Being overweight or holding onto fat in certain areas of the body can be an outcome of this. This is why the elimination process is essential. Within this elimination process you are freed from negativity through intentional and appropriate sadness, forgiveness, and repentance.
